SV TEAM DAYS: SHAPING CHANGE TOGETHER*

The team event for the Insurance Department of Sparkasse Darmstadt was a great example of how purpose-driven team events can be effective. In October 2023, the 35-member team gathered with me to focus on the topic of change and to prepare for future challenges.

A concept tailored to the team’s needs formed the foundation of an intensive 1.5-day program that went far beyond traditional workshops. The goal was to alleviate fears of change, strengthen resilience, and foster trust in open communication. The picturesque Hotel Therme Bad Teinach provided the perfect atmosphere.

Through interactive sessions, the team engaged with topics such as change and stress, comfort zones, and personal growth. The first day concluded with hands-on exercises on feedback and collaboration. The second day focused on cross-departmental collaboration and shared visions. Activities like collaborative building and dancing encouraged participants to explore new perspectives in a playful way and to develop solutions together.

The event aimed to promote a positive attitude toward change and to encourage participants to engage actively and responsibly. With practical methods and theoretical insights, participants gained new skills to approach change positively and to succeed as a team.
